Can I mix this with other kibbles, raw food or wet food?

Our Gourmet recipes are nutritionally complete and adhere to FEDIAF nutritional guidance. This is to ensure the right essential nutrients are being provided for healthy bodily function and to support a healthy physique. If you choose to combine our kibbles with raw feeding, please ensure to make an allowance for the calories and nutrients being fed with raw, as to avoid over-feeding.

The Gourmet dried food range is a complete food in itself, but like all of our products, this can be combined with our Gourmet wet food range to create a unique taste and texture for your dog to enjoy. If you would like to learn more about the mixed feeding amount we recommend, please contact our Customer Care Team or through our Live Chat service or contact us at info@edenpetfoods.com.

How do you store this kibble?

As with our other kibble ranges, we advise storing our Gourmet dried kibble range in a cool dry place outside of direct sunlight to preserve the quality as much as possible. The bags themselves are resealable, but you could also place the bag into an airtight container as an alternative. We would advise placing the whole bag inside the container in this case, as some containers can absorb some of the oils within the kibble.

Should you choose to dispose of the bag and store the food in an airtight container, please ensure you make a note of the batch details on the rear of the bag. In the rare event that the kibble needs to be tested, we cannot send it off without confirmation of the batch information.

How much does this cost?

The 2kg bags of our Gourmet dried kibble range retail at £25.00 each.

Is it the same as the wet food range but as a dried kibble?

Our Gourmet dried food range is formulated using similar proteins to our Gourmet wet food range, to ensure that their taste profiles are not only suitable as a complete food by themselves, but also complement each other if fed in a mixed diet.

Due to the Gourmet dried food range having a moisture content of 8%, this allows for a higher nutritional content to be included within its formula in comparison to the Gourmet wet food range. The Gourmet dried food formulas are more nutritionally dense than the Gourmet wet food range, containing higher calories, protein, fat and oil content per 100g.

Does the food come in a smaller kibble size?

The Gourmet dried food range is only available in a kibble size of 14mm x 5mm, which matches our Medium sized kibble in our 80/20 range. If you would like to feed this range to a smaller dog, we recommend either pre-processing this in a food processor to create smaller pieces, or by soaking the kibble for 5 – 10 minutes with warm / lukewarm water to create a softer texture. You can practice soaking the kibble using our 100g sample bags to see if this will suit your dog’s preferences.
