What do you recommend for a Diabetic dogs?

We do not have a food that is tailored specifically for diabetic dogs as the high meat content and low carbs within our Eden foods means that it does tend to suit diabetic dogs quite well. We have found that feeding little amounts throughout the day, instead of two/three big meals can help maintain a dog’s blood sugar levels throughout the day.

What do you recommend for kittens?

All of our cat food products are suitable for all life stages.

What do you recommend for a dog with IBD?

Dogs that suffer from IBD require a protein digestibility of 87% or more. As Eden products have a high protein digestibility, it should be fine to feed. We would recommend our Fish Cuisine, due to it being a single source of protein which is suitable for sensitive stomachs. We don’t offer a specific hydrolysed formula as our products are based on an ancestral diet, however, our 80/20 and semi-moist products contain prebiotics to support digestion. Eden do always recommend providing the ingredients to a veterinary professional as they are not designed for specific health conditions.

How do I change my cat or dog onto Eden Holistic Pet Foods?

We recommend taking a gradual approach when transitioning onto Eden, to reduce stress on the digestive system. We advise reducing their current food by 10% each day and increasing Eden 10% in place for 10 days, always ensuring to provide fresh clean drinking water.
