Eden is formulated to align to your pet’s natural diet, the ancestral diet. For this reason, we always start with the amount of protein we can put into our recipes. We have chosen to select the best ingredients, using only the finest meats, fish, fruits & vegetables that are 100% natural, freshly prepared, sustainably, and responsibly sourced. Our ingredients are important to us, so to preserve their integrity we carefully steam cook our food, which locks in all of the key nutrients.
We understand the importance of supporting local, so we endeavour to source as many ingredients from the UK as possible.

Meat & Fish

We select the finest meats and fish which are sustainably & responsibly sourced. As Eden is based on the ancestral diet, our recipes contain up to 85% meat/fish content.

Chicken

A lean protein source, aiding in building lean muscle mass and a great way of converting the proteins into energy, keeping your pet in peak condition. Chicken is a good source of omega 6 fatty acids which is good for the skin and coat and contains essential amino acids.

Scottish Salmon

A high-quality source of omega-3 fatty acids, which support the immune system, may decrease inflammation, can keep your pets coat looking shiny and healthy as well as aiding cognitive development.

Suffolk Duck

Rich in iron & B vitamins duck provides a lean, easy-to-digest protein. Duck is also a great source of amino acids, which helps to support strong muscles. Foods formulated with duck are sometimes recommended for dogs suffering from food sensitivities or food allergies.

Venison

A naturally lean meat, containing all ten essential amino acids and a great protein option for pets with sensitivities or allergies. An excellent source of B vitamins and minerals such as zinc, phosphorous and iron. It helps to maintain healthy energy levels and promote overall health.

Lamb

An outstanding source of many vitamins and minerals, including iron, zinc, and vitamin B12. Because of this, regular consumption of lamb may promote muscle growth, maintenance, and performance. In addition, it helps prevent anaemia.

Rabbit

A fantastic source of vitamin B12 which works to ensure that a dog’s nervous system functions properly. It is also needed for normal cell growth. If your dog is acting sluggish, it may be because he is lacking B12 as vitamin B12 helps maintain their energy level.

Herring

Is very high in the long-chain Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. They are also a good source of vitamin D. Like other fish, Herring can help with a dog’s skin and coat, decrease inflammation, and aid the immune system. Herring is a low-calorie source of both protein and fat.

Turkey

A highly digestible protein source and a great choice for pets who suffer with sensitive stomachs. Containing B vitamins, selenium, zinc and phosphorous, the leaner meat also allows in aiding in muscle maintenance.

Pheasant

A novel, lean, source of protein for your pet. Pheasant is rich in minerals, such as phosphorus, potassium, selenium, iron, manganese and zinc. Offering a range of benefits including red blood cell production, bone health and supported immunity.

Goose

Naturally high in protein, an essential part of your pet’s diet. Goose contains high levels of iron, helping to transport oxygen around the body with B12 aiding in the production red blood cells. Also, a source of zinc and selenium, which is key for healthy cell division and protection against cell damage.

Sweet Potato

A great source of dietary fibre, are rich in antioxidants, contain a source of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B6, manganese and beta carotene. All of which can contribute to healthy digestion and gut health and support healthy vision.

Peas

This protein rich legume is packed full of fibre aiding in weight management, gentle digestion, improve bowel functions. Peas are also known to help improve immune systems in dogs and support healthy skin, heart function and eye health.

Carrots

Rich in fibre, antioxidants, and beta-carotene. The benefits carrots for our pets is similar to our benefits such as supporting eye health, boosts the immune system and can make your pets skin & coat healthier.

Spinach

Packed with a lot of the nutrients that are necessary for a healthy pet. Spinach is rich in vitamins A, B, C, and K, full of antioxidants, high in beta-carotene, and a good source of roughage that is necessary for a healthy digestive system.

Blueberries

A great immune boosting superfood. Blueberries contain anti-oxidants, are rich in vitamin c and k, helps with urinary health as well as contributing to overall health and helping to maintaining energy levels.

Apples

Cranberries

Oregano

Sage

Parsley

Thyme

Contains vitamins A, C and K, with powerful antioxidants. Thyme has immune boosting properties to help your pet fight off disease, keeps your pets' digestive tract healthy and aids in protection against parasites such as hookworm.

Tumeric

A fantastic herbal medicine. Turmeric has a naturally occurring anti-inflammatory and pain relief properties. Aiding in boosting immunity with antiviral, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Turmeric can help fight diseases like arthritis, diabetes, cancer, liver disease, gastrointestinal issue and more.

Seaweed

Contains a wide range of nutrients that are extremely good for your pet. Among these are Omega-3 fatty acids, iron, iodine, and magnesium. Kelp has been found to help restore the health of your pets skin and tissues, it has anti-inflammatory, anti-tumour and anti-rheumatic properties and is full of probiotics which helps with good bacteria in your pets' gut.

Marjoram

Burdock Root

Serves as an excellent filter for your dog's blood stream. It flushes out toxins and helps to create enzymes that aid in absorptions of nutrients. Burdock root is also a natural diuretic and as such helps to support the bladder and kidneys by flushing waste materials from the body.

Aniseed

Benefits include aiding digestion, calming the nervous system and increasing appetite.

Rosehip

Packed full of Vitamin C aiding in naturally producing collagen helping to keep bones strong. Rich in antioxidants rosehip helps to boost the immune system and assists in promoting a healthy skin & coat.

Lucerne (Alfalfa)

A natural source of iron, magnesium, manganese vitamin A,C,E and multiple B vitamins. Lucerne is a great source of protein and can aid in heart health, immune boosting and anti-inflammatory properties.

Fenugreek

Helps decrease inflammation. It also can lower blood glucose, which might be an issue for pets with hypoglycaemia. Fenugreek contains vitamins A, C, and B vitamins as well as potassium, iron and calcium.

Chicory Root

Inulin contained in chicory root is used as a prebiotic, supporting digestion and promoting the healthy bacteria in the gut. Other potential benefits include supporting liver health, skin barrier function and weight management.

Green lipped mussel

Best known components are Omega-3 fatty acids, including the fatty acids EPA and DHA. Omega-3s work by reducing the level of inflammation associated with diseases such as osteoarthritis. Green lipped mussel is a rich source of glucosamine, chondroitin, vitamins C and E, antioxidants, and minerals such as copper, zinc, and selenium.

Eggs

High in protein and contain many essential amino acids and fatty acids and vitamins such as A, B12, folate, iron, selenium and riboflavin. Eggs have many health benefits including improving skin & coat health to stronger teeth and bones.

Chickpeas

Can help dogs that are suffering from constipation by keeping their digestive tracts moving. Chickpea’s can also help regulate blood sugar, support eye health with the help of vitamin A and aids in boosting the immune system.

Tapioca

Helps decrease inflammation. It also can lower blood glucose, which might be an issue for pets with hypoglycaemia. Fenugreek contains vitamins A, C, and B vitamins as well as potassium, iron and calcium.

Coconut Oil

Has potent anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which makes it a perfect choice to treat skin conditions. Coconut oil can help hydrate dry skin or relieve uncomfortable skin rashes caused by allergic reactions.

Chondroitin

An increasingly popular form of alternative therapy for canine arthritis and other degenerative joint and bone disorders. Chondroitin is a flexible substance that occurs naturally in dogs and other animals. It is a key component of cartilage, the connective tissue that cushions joints during movement. Levels of chondroitin often decline due to cartilage deterioration caused by age, illness or injury.

MSM

An anti-inflammatory property, making MSM very effective in pain relief. MSM works by improving the flexibility and permeability of cell walls. As a result, fluids can pass through tissue cells more easily. This can relieve pressure and pain caused by swollen and inflamed cells. Dogs with osteoarthritis or other joint issues (e.g. hip dysplasia) can benefit greatly from the anti-inflammatory properties of MSM to relieve joint pain.

Glucosamine

Glucosamine is an amino sugar that naturally occurs in the connective and cartilage tissues and contributes to maintaining the strength, flexibility and elasticity of these tissues. Glucosamine increases the concentration of proteoglycans (large protein molecules) in cartilage and the synovial membrane which produces the fluid lubricating the joints. Also, Glucosamine may support the repair of damaged cartilage by increasing collagen deposition, providing joint care for dogs and cats.
